ROO DOMINATES COLOSSAL PREHISTORIC REPTILE

Quick - when you think of a ferocious water animal capable of lightning speed and thrashing bites with jaws of steel, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? Of course - the Spiny Softshell Turtle.

It uses its aardvark-like proboscis, as you can see, to jet through mud and algae at meteoric velocities. Normally, the Spiny Softshell is a hard-to-spot streak along the river bottom. But when Roo nonchalantly trotted into the water after a stick and encountered this Moby Dick of the San Pedro River, perhaps pretending that it was just another rock on the bottom was a way to outsmart the crafty reptilian thinker and elude an attack. Or, perhaps, the Kahoo came closer than she’ll ever know to actually encountering one of the monsters she still worries about from time to time. In this case, as you'll be able to tell by the graceful camerawork at the end, Rooki wasn't the one who was scared.
