Maybe this is why Roo has been acting embarrassed

It may sound strange, but Roo hasn't quite been herself since she got out of that miserable grooming salon the other day. She has been acting embarrassed. Could it have anything to do with being shorn, feeling different, her experience there…? I have no idea.

They didn't let her go until dusk, and then they hid some of the worst butchering with a bandana. I had never seen a haircut so badly botched, and because of that, I didn't expect it. These pictures will give you some idea. It's like this all over the poor dog.

Finally, I couldn't keep my mouth shut and called the groomer to let them know that the quality of their work hadn't escaped notice. Their response was threefold - that I said it was fine when I picked her up, so it must not have been their work. That I posted three pictures of Roo on the blog in which she looked fine. And to bring her back in for more.

The three pictures of Roo were from before the knife fight. As for bringing her back in - even if there was anything left to trim it would be insane to hand her back over to them.

Roo's guardian angel kept the perpetrators from touching the fur on her back. Everything they did touch is a mess.
