I just saw this while looking for another file on my computer. This was three years ago in Paso Robles, California. This young dog was named Linus. He used to roam around the neighborhood. He was deathly afraid of the water and would always walk around the whole house to avoid the pool. Probably someone threw him in when he was a puppy. It took about two weeks of daily lessons when I came home to teach him this. At least he was a swimming Lab when he died a few weeks later. His ten-year-old human brother told me they didn't get a shot for him and he died of parvo. I guess that's just what the kid heard the adults say. He was a fine dog. It made me sad to see this.
