Study of a Snow Bear

Just below 6000 feet as we crossed from western to central Oregon, a three-foot blanket of snow appeared. This was Roo's second time in the snow (the first was shared on this site on New Year's). It was too deep for me to walk on, much to the Kahoo's chagrin. In her opinion, we should have hiked for about three hours in it and checked to see if digging for moles works better in the snow than in the dirt. She still had fun in spite of her old man.
